Chasing Sparks

Well, woke up late this morning cause I set my phone alarms to go off in the PM instead of the AM, so now I'm wearing the same clothes I wore yesterday (like a boss) and I didn't do my hair. I'm lookin' mighty fine right now.

In other news, we went shooting and then had a bonfire with some of our friends last night. It was great! I'm still shocked at the kick on the "big guns" so most of the time I was just laughing AND my sister, Becca, shoots guns better than me but that's just how it is I guess. Also, we ate dinner at Brad's and it was very yummy. Dan and I are now pretty much food-sessed with deep fried mushrooms and English chips. They are just so good, ya know!? We took Koda with us and he was so good! He loved being able to roam around in the sand and be free. And his favorite activity of the evening? Chasing the sparks from the bonfire. Hahaha. Oh, the life of a dog.

P.S. I finished all my finals up yesterday so I'm officially done with this semester! AND I found out that I passed the PRAXIS for elementary ed! Woohoo! Thanks to all my wonderful hubby, family, and friends for the encouragement. ♥ Love you guys!

Surprise!

The sun is shining. The sky is blue...
So what do you do?
You hang out with your sexy hubs and your littlest sister in that sunshine.
You play basketball in your front driveway, spray paint the Baja Bug you have in your garage black, go on excursions to the DI, play Monkey Ball on your Wii/Game Cube...
THEN you decide to cut all your hair off and then go do it while your hubby goes shooting with friends!

Yes, that's right.
I CUT AND DYED MY HAIR!
And I love it! And so does Dan!

Also, I have a job interview tomorrow at the movie theater (wish me luck!) and my best friend, Natalie, is going to be in town!
Life is great..

2011 at it's best

2011 has been pretty grand, I'd say.
So here's the best of 2011 before the new year rolls in.
Bring it, 2012, cause this year's going to be hard to beat!

{January}- I married my best friend for time and all eternity ♥

{February}- I had a girls night with my sisters in our new place for the first time...

and Dan and I went sledding at Wood's Ranch for our friend, Bryan's birthday

{March}- Dan and I went on a really fun triple date to Fiesta Fun with Jeremy, Kaela, Tasha, and Amos

{April}- Brian Regan (the comedian) came to SUU so we went and laughed our butts off

and we helped Dan's family move from Green River, Wyoming, to Payson, Utah

{May}- Dan and I had officially been together for 1 year since our first date so we went to the carnival where our first date took place with my family

and my mom graduated from SUU...

and my sister, Bec, graduated from Cedar High

{June}- We got a new puppy and named her Roxy

and I went to the lake on the hill for the first time of the summer (it was so COLD)...

and we went to a pow-wow...

the Summer Games Opening Ceremonies...

and the Groovefest

{July}- We celebrated Independence Day weekend with Dan's family and mine

and we went to the July Jamboree...

The Ren Fair...

and the final Harry Potter movie

and the lake on the hill

{August}- I went to two bridal showers up north...

and went to two county fairs...

and was a photographer for a wedding...

and wore false mustaches with the fam

{September}- Dan did landscaping on a yard for The Parade of Homes with his brother, Jeremy...

And we went to Acappellastock with my parents and my aunt and uncle

spent Labor Day weekend at the cabin

Was a photographer for engagements shots...

and Bec and I put signs up around Collette's school to let everyone know she turned 16

{October}- We went up to Park City for Dan's mission reunion with his mission companion, Shaun, and his wife, Kara...

I went shooting for the first time in my life

And we celebrated Halloween

{November}- We celebrated Thanksgiving twice

{December}- We checked out the St. George Temple lights with my family for FHE

And put up our Christmas Tree

And went to Bountiful for the Barclay Christmas party at my grandma's where Dan got to play Santa's elf, "Lucky"...
